If we stagnate for too long, it’s kind of like dying.You get the crazy old guy instead of the thoroughbred. Yeah, sometimes things don’t work out the way you’d like, and that sucks. We’re all at the mercy of life’s prize machine.It still helps to set concrete goals along the way, as sure as getting 100 coins will allow you to pull the lever on the prize machine one more time. In life, we’re all trying to play the game as long and as well as we can. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right move. That’s fine, but sometimes there’s no clear path ahead, and the only way to achieve future success is to make a move that takes you sideways or backwards in the short term. Society puts a lot of pressure on us, especially financially and professionally, to constantly be pushing forward. Sometimes to get ahead, you need to take a lateral or even backward step.I have my tongue in my cheek as I say that, and it’s probably more precise to say Crossy Road reinforces things you should already know rather than teaching them to you, but it’s pretty funny how many Truths (with a capital ‘T’) you can find in such a simple game.
